Silly Isaiah

Isaiah was giving Elmo a ride in a chair today. I tried to film him but he got shy and decided to walk in circles around me instead. and yes, he is wearing my slippers and i am wearing his slippers, as per his request

Christina's new sound

we went out in the cold to the german christmas market at daley plaza. here are the appahs with their kids. isaiah loved emoboo (he called him boo boo boo) and kept asking for him even after they left.


and of course they went to visit santa at the german market too. isaiah must have been naughty this year...

isaiah had a wonderful time this past halloween trick-or-treating! he got to eat candy for the first time too! mmmmm...

birthday party!

isaiah had a birthday party on saturday with 20 of his friends and their parents!
(his real birthday isn't until wednesday)

here is a video clip of the birthday cake. we practiced blowing out candles at home, but he didn't quite blow hard enough so appah and umma had to help him. we got him a thomas the train cake, since its his favorite right now. you can hear him naming the characters with appah.

my favorite part is when he's eating the cake. can you believe he's never had cake before?!

praying

we pray before every meal and before isaiah's bedtime and naptime--- usually we pray for each member of our family and give thanks to God for all of his blessings.

during dinner today i forgot to give isaiah his milk. when i gave it to him, i caught him doing this:




in the very beginning you can hear that he prays for umma and baby in his babbling. what a cute, sweet, boy!

hands

christina has discovered her hands...

slide

we moved in july and our new house is across the street from a park with a fun playground. isaiah loves the slide! here he is having fun (and getting distracted by other kids)!

2 month / 2 year

we went in for christina's 2 month AND isaiah's 2 year appointment yesterday. (it was a little early for isaiah's 2 year, but the office said it was ok to go early so we could bring the kids together).

christina:

22.75 inches and 11 lbs 9 oz! she has jumped up to the 75%! we're not surprised since she is such a big eater!

isaiah:

35 inches and 26 lbs 13 oz. he's in the 75% for height, but between 25-50 for weight. he's tall and skinny, just like his appah!

appah celebrated by taking isaiah to a bulls pre-season game.

both isaiah and christina fell asleep after a trip to target one day. umma took them out of the car and put them on a bed together so they could take a picture :)

iphone

here is a clip of isaiah playing his new favorite iphone game. the video is dark because he was playing it in our bed one morning (it was still really early).

isaiah is also obsessed with the alphabet! he knows all of his letters---- but his favorite letter of is all the w. (which you can see in this video). he loves how w and m are upside down versions of each other.

little christina

just wanted to share some pictures i have of christina on my phone.

a little video of christina underneath her rainforest gymnasium. she doesn't do much in this clip but sneeze twice and stare down one of the hanging toys. (She is obsessed with this toy).

isaiah loves helping umma hold his little sister. he wants to try to hold her by himself but he's not quite big enough!

but whenever she cries he tries to soothe her by giving her a hug or holding her hand.

growing

christina had her 2 week appointment a couple of days ago and she is growing at a huge rate!

She already weighs 7 lb 13 oz, and is now 20 inches long. Her pediatrician was impressed by her growth and said that everything looks perfect. She takes after her big brother who was also a big eater as a newborn!
