a day in the life of isaiah

you must wonder, what does a 3 month old do all day long?

sometimes, i don't even know myself! once, he left the room, and where did i find him?

curled up with a book.

looking very intently at the story

uh oh, you caught me!

i love books!

... ok ok, so thats more of my dream come true. i hope one day isaiah loves to read! we read many books a day. in the morning we start the day by reading a psalm (courtesy of sam sahmchon, its a book of psalms in kids language), and then i pick out two books. in the afternoon we pick out some of his "play" board books, and we always read a bedtime story-- unless he's already super tired, then we skip that one.

i guess we have a long ways to go before he's ever off doing something-- right now we're still just working on tummy time!

mommy works isaiah hard on tummy all day...

and night!

isaiah hates tummy time, but i always congratulate him on a job well done!
yay isaiah!!!

we also spend time trying to learn how to sit and play with toys with our hands. isaiah did something really funny with one of his toys though... can you see whats wrong with this picture?

he pushed the toy off his tray and his foot caught it!

hey Grace...that's so cute! Isaiah can be the boy in the back of an empty classroom absorbed in a book. haha. Are you guys wearing the same shirt? It sure looks like it!
