Birthday and Halloween fun

welcome to november!
it was a very busy end of the month for teamshin.

first we celebrated isaiah and abigail's birthday a little early in michigan.  abigail's grandmother was nice enough to host a party for the kids at her house--- and she got both the kids their own cake, as well as a little cake for christina too!

Umma got to come into Isaiah's classroom to read a story to his class.  We also dedicated this "Frog and Toad" book to his class library in celebration of his birthday.

Then it was finally Isaiah's birthday morning!  we decorated the house and let him pick his breakfast--- he chose oatmeal with cooked apples.

Isaiah's birthday party isn't until this weekend (he is having a fun cooking birthday party!) so we took him to his favorite place--- the Children's Museum!

The museum is in navy pier where they also have a fun train ride.

HALLOWEEN!

Here are our cutie pies!  We tried to convince Isaiah to dress as Luigi but he didn't love that plan.
Mario and a Pirate

Since Isaiah wasn't going to go as Luigi, umma had to go as Wario, Mario's nemesis!

Umma had a chance to help out in Isaiah's class Halloween party.
ISAIAH UPDATE

Isaiah had his 4 year old check up!  He weighed in at 40.6lbs and measured in at 42.5 inches!  He is between 90-95% in height and 75-90% in weight!  What a big boy and big eater.

Isaiah is also reading amazingly well.  In fact when umma went to read a story to his class one of his classmates asked, "Isaiah's mom, can Isaiah read?".  Isaiah is currently reading at about a beginning to middle 2nd grade level!  We will try to post a recent video of reading soon.

Isaiah is also starting to do some math.  Here are some very very introductory addition lessons.

Here we are practicing some mental math

Aww, everyone got their own cakes? How sweet! Love the Halloween pics too. Happy birthday, Isaiah and Abigail!
