solids

we started giving isaiah solids yesterday! (some fancy rice cereal from whole foods...) he took the cereal pretty well and made lots of funny facial expressions!













the funniest part was when isaiah tried to tell appah that he didn't want anymore! but umma distracts isaiah and appah gets in one more spoonful!

balloon fun

halmunee and isaiah found a new way to have fun with the balloon~

isaiah has just figured out how to jump in his jumper and he is loving it! its his favorite thing! his second favorite is spinning the frog.

in this clip it takes about 30 sec. for him to really get into the jumping... but its worth it! sorry the quality of the clip isn't the greatest... it takes too long to upload a better version!

another trip!

today is appah's birthday! we just got back from our week long trip to nyc and charlottesville!
isaiah is an all-star at flying. he does well on the plane and is a trooper with all the traveling.
isaiah was very happy to spend the whole week with appah!

isaiah also got to visit umma and appah's old workplaces. it was very sunny out, so isaiah had to wear his cute sun hat that jillian emo bought for him.







isaiah got to spend a lot of time with laura emo! there are a lot of stripes in this picture!


we are so proud of what a champ he was on all the flights. isaiah has already been on the airplane 5 times!

jumper

isaiah has a lot of fun in his jumper. sometimes he just sits in it and smiles while watching me. sometimes he just bangs on things, and sometimes he chews on them!




we leave for nyc tomorrow, then off to cville!

san diego

we just got back from our quick trip to san diego. appah had a conference over the weekend so umma and isaiah decided to tag along. this was isaiah's first airplane trip, so it was a big step for the little guy. isaiah did a fantastic job on the plane! he only cried for a tiny bit on the way there, but didn't cry at all on the way home. we are so proud him!

we got to spend the day with johnny and jackie! they bought isaiah new books!







on sunday, isaiah and umma got to walk along the water and enjoy the nice weather while appah was stuck in meetings all day!





later that night we got a nice visit from bernice and vanessa, and isaiah got some new pens to play with! hooray for fun pens!

isaiah seemed to like california, but we think he's happy to be home.
this sunday we'll be flying to new york city, so we'll get to see if he's a west coast guy or an east coast guy.
